In Budapest, next to the Basilica, the Tapas Bar by Felisa is an authentic Spanish restaurant that brings to life the true sparkling Latin feeling, from the sumptuous food to the excellent Spanish drink selection to the Mediterranean atmosphere. The restaurant was dreamed up by Felícia Nagy, who is close to gastronomy, as her father runs the ever-popular Nagy Fa-Tál Kitchen, which represents Hungarian flavors and traditions.
However, with the Spanish restaurant Tapas Bar by Felisa, they wanted to bring something new to the Budapest gastronomic map:

During a dinner date, my partner and I decided to try some tapas. The dishes were incredibly delicious. The tempura calamari rings were particularly crispy. We received the food promptly from the cheerful waitstaff. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience a Spanish restaurant.

The story of Felícia and Manar is not just about restaurants, but about people, family, and shared moments. Felícia was only 22 years old when the idea for Tapas Bar by Felisa was born. It was a dream fueled by her family's heritage in hospitality and the values she received from her parents: trust, support, humility, and perseverance. Her love for authentic Spanish flavors and her desire to create cozy, welcoming spaces guided her from the very beginning. She dreamed of places where people could slow down and share food, laughter, and time with one another—because the most beautiful memories are always made around the table.
Manar is an architect and international event organizer living in Budapest. When joining Felícia, she arrived not only as a co-director but as a co-creator. Her design vision, event planning experience, refined aesthetic sense, and love for people added a new dimension to the world of Tapas Bar by Felisa. For her, the space, the atmosphere, and the experience are just as important as the flavors—because a good restaurant is a feeling, not just a place.
Today, as co-founders of the Felisa Group and co-owners of Paprika Kitchen & Bar, Felícia and Manar work along a shared vision: creating restaurants where the values of the past meet the creativity of the present, and where every guest can feel a little bit like they are coming home.

I started my career as a waiter, and this experience continues to define my perspective to this day. It taught me how important it is to understand the guests' needs, to be present in every moment, and to create an atmosphere that people love to return to. These values have led me to where I am today, managing the daily operations of Tapas Bar by Felisa and Paprika Kitchen & Bar as a restaurant manager."

His natural leadership mindset and dedication quickly made him a key figure in the team, and today, as restaurant manager, he is responsible for daily operations and the guest experience.
